This sculpture series was created between 2018- 2019 and exhibited under the titled Scintillate inspired by precious objects with complex histories, such as the Crown of the Andes, a 17th-century votive crown made in Colombia, purportedly from melted down Inca objects and stolen emeralds from the last Inca Emperor. The sculptures are made in clay, using mostly slab construction, and finished with a high gloss glaze for a uniform and shiny surface. Each sculpture measures approximately 15 x 15 x 16 inches.
